SideSwap hopes to be the premiere swap venue for any asset issued on the Liquid sidechain. Should you have an asset you wish to list or trade in the swap market, please reach out. In general, any asset we consider eligible for listing will, in addition to being considered sound, require some degree of guaranteed and continuous liquidity. All other assets may be traded in the token market.

Stablecoins are tokens designed to be pegged to an underlying currency, where the tokens are represented by the underlying currency on a one-for-one basis, in custody with a trusted third-party. In this setting, the trust in the custodian of the backing asset is crucial for the stability of price of the stablecoin.

SideSwap currently offers trading in the following stablecoins:

• Liquid Tether USD
• Pegx EURx

Any asset not recognized as a Stablecoin or AMP asset will be offered through our Token Market.

All Tokens trade against LBTC.

For an issued asset to be eligible for trading in the Token Market, it must be registered with the Blockstream asset registry.

SideSwap offers trading in securities via our Swap Market under AMP Listings. AMP assets are Transfer Restricted assets where the users need to have their AMP ID whitelisted in order to become an eligible asset holder. AMP assets must have dedicated order books and may not trade via our Token Market.
